Your Time/Volunteers
Centro greatly appreciates the men and women, boys and girls who contribute their time and energy to further our mission in the community. Centro has volunteer opportunities to match everyone’s interest, experiences, and schedule. Most volunteer assignments require no previous experience but may require someone who is bilingual, but not all.. Opportunities exist to help staff with special events, organize and stock our emergency food pantry, provide homework assistance and assist with special projects.

Centro de Información welcomes donations of non-perishable food to support its emergency food pantry.
Food donations are needed year-round.
Below is list of the most needed foods:
- Beans - pinto or red, canned or dried
- Rice - white, uncooked
- Pasta - spaghetti noodles
- Spaghetti sauce
- Canned vegetables - corn, green beans
- Canned juices - orange, apple, pineapple
- Macaroni and cheese
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly - Grape or Strawberry
- Cereal - cold and hot
- Canned soups: chicken noodle, vegetable
- Ravioli, spaghetti
